About

You can't change your life with the same hacks you've been trying for twenty years. The only way to create change that lasts is to break the pattern that built the life you're living. I'm Kimm, the creator of The Breakthrough™, a belief-first methodology built on three forces: Belief, Challenge, Choice. I work with Gen X women plagued by potential, who know they can do so much more but don't know why they can't. I figured it out from the inside, and after thirty years of training and program design, I made it repeatable. Women used my framework to finally understand why. Why they stopped before. Why they couldn't maintain. Why knowing better never translated into doing better. The versions of themselves they built over the years collapse into one woman who knows, whatever the situation, that she has the power to choose. And that reunion is where the real change begins, because when you live authentically, joy becomes your baseline.

Okay, now that the official stuff is out of the way, let me talk to you.

If you need a list of credibility markers, I hope the one above does the job. But if you're like me, you don't care if somebody only got as far as the sixth grade and was homeless on Monday. If they figured out the solution to my problem by Friday, sign me up! For the record, I was homeless for a little bit, but it wasn't Monday. Or the Monday before that! And I figured out the solution to my problem long before Friday.

I've had some high highs and some low lows, but when you level it all out, life was good. Really good. Still, I couldn't shake the feeling that it could be so much greater and that I could be so much better. I'm no hater, but since we're friends, I'll tell you there were many-a-time I watched someone get the publicity or make the money and thought I could do that way better. And no matter how many plans and lists and promises I made, I never did any better than I'd already done.

Then one day I looked around and decades had passed. I refuse to calculate the actual number, but I'm sure I spent as much as some people have in their 401(k) trying to turn what was in my head and my heart into action. In-person seminars, online courses, subliminal messaging, hypnosis. I was surrounded by a graveyard of books, cassettes, VHS tapes, workbooks, PDFs, MP3s and binders, plus a pile of products and potions so big it looked like I was trying to win Brewster's Millions.

A guru with a great social media page or an ancient Chinese secret could only soothe a symptom. The source of my struggle stayed untouched. Then I had my Dorothy moment, when I realized I'd had both the problem and the answer all along. I was choosing the life I was living. So how could I choose to live the way I said I wanted to live?

That question is what became The Breakthrough™. You can click the link to the homepage to check it out. And if you want to click your heels three times first, I will not judge.
