Journey to Joy

Journey to Joy Lotus Logo

Journey to Joy is a guided year for women who are no longer willing to override themselves.

A year from now

It's a Tuesday.

Somebody needs something, and this time there's a beat before you answer. Half a second where you notice what's happening. You might still say yes. But you'll know you chose it, and you won't go to bed annoyed at yourself.

That's the whole thing, and it's bigger than it sounds.

You'll have done two things you actually wanted to do. Not a list of resolutions. Two goals you picked because they mattered, broken into twelve milestones you could see on your wall all year.

You'll have missed some of them. Everybody does. The difference is you'll know why you missed them, which means you'll know how to make them up instead of calling the year a wash and starting over in January.

You'll notice yourself pausing where you used to react. Catching resistance earlier. Recovering faster when an old pattern shows up anyway.

You'll stop splitting into a different woman depending on who's in the room. One version. At work, at home, and by yourself in the car.

And joy won't be something you're chasing. It's your baseline. It never left. You just couldn't get to it under everything you'd already agreed to.

Right now

You've read the books. You've done the retreat, the therapy, the podcast binge, the journal you kept for eleven days. You can explain your own patterns better than most people can explain the weather.

And then Tuesday happens. Somebody needs something. You say yes before your brain catches up.

That is not an information problem. You have plenty of information.

It's a belief, running underneath the choice, so fast you never see it happen. Journey to Joy is a year of slowing that moment down until you can see it, and then until you can choose inside it.

It returns you to who you already are. It does not hand you a new personality.

How it moves

Slowly, and on purpose. Three percent at a time. Not a leap. The incremental stretch you can actually make this week.

Nothing here depends on a motivation spike or a single weekend that changes everything. The women who do well with this are the ones willing to look at themselves honestly and keep showing up on the unremarkable days.

Who it's for

Women in their forties, fifties, sixties and beyond who are competent, responsible, well-regarded, and quietly running on fumes. Women who have been the reliable one so long they've lost track of what they actually wanted.

Who it isn't for

Anyone who wants to be fixed by somebody else. Anyone who wants a motivational high. Anyone hoping to stay private and not participate. No shame in any of that. It's a mismatch, and finding out now saves us both a year.

What it isn't

This is not therapy and it does not replace it. It is not manifestation, it is not a productivity system, and it is not a promise that life gets easy.

What you get

A box arrives.

Inside it is a workbook. Six chapters, plus resource chapters you pull in when you need them. That's where the thinking happens, and it's the part you keep, because by the end of it you can find the belief underneath a pattern without me.

The journal is where you actually work. Every exercise, prompt and planner page, built to be used daily for a year. Nobody reads it but you. A year from now it's the record of what you actually thought on a Tuesday in March, and that's the only evidence that will ever convince you something changed. There's a deck of prompt cards in there too, for the days you sit down with nothing. You do the work anyway, which is the entire trick.

The roadmap goes on your wall. Twelve milestones plotted where you can see them from across the room, in whatever colors mean something to you, with the pens and markers to make it yours. You stop wondering whether you're getting anywhere, because you're looking at it every morning.

The Personal Accountability System makes your daily action physical. Consistency stops being a feeling you're trying to summon and turns into something you can point at. By the end of the year it's something you can wear.

Dorothy is on the platform with you for the full year. She knows the methodology, so you can bring her a stuck belief at midnight without waiting for anybody. She messages you, reads what you post, and responds to what you have actually been doing rather than to a script. On the hard days, and there will be hard days, she is the one who notices.

The app puts the whole thing in your pocket. Your roadmap, your daily action, your milestones, wherever you are.

Four women in a circle looking down

And then there are the three women. Your Joy Riders Club, the same material and the same year, matched to you at purchase by where you live and what you're working on. You don't go hunting for your people and you don't wait for someone to organize the first meeting, because one of you has the lead from day one. They're the ones who notice your shifts before you do, and they're the reason you don't quietly disappear in month four.

The offer

$4,000. Pay in one, two, or three payments.

That covers the kit, the app, the platform and Dorothy for a year, and your Joy Riders Club. It's a year of held work rather than a course you download and abandon. Priced by the month, it's less than most people spend on their car.

FAQs

Well, first of all, I just created it, so it can't be the same as anything you tried! And most of those programs ask you to work on your choices. This one works on the beliefs that made those choices feel necessary in the first place. You can white-knuckle a new behavior for about six weeks. Update the belief underneath it and the new choice stops requiring willpower.

No, and it doesn't replace it. This is a structured system with community around it. Plenty of women do both. If you're in active crisis, therapy first. And if you feel like lying down on the couch while you do your work, have at it.

A morning practice of about fifteen minutes, a daily action you design to be small enough to survive your worst day, and a short evening reflection. Weekly, your Joy Riders Club. Monthly, a roadmap update. That's all the time I ask for. Even if you milk it, it's not even half a day.

It's only too late when you stop breathing. This was built for exactly where you are. The women who get the most out of it have decades of evidence about themselves to work with. That's an advantage, not a liability.

If you can use email and watch a video, you can use the platform.

Four women. Same material, same timeline, same year. They're the ones who notice your shifts before you do. This is the part women tell me they didn't know they needed.

You control what you share and when. Your journal is yours and nobody reads it. The club works best when you participate, and participating doesn't require confessing.

Because it's built for the woman you are on that bad Wednesday when your hot flash fan dies, your work nemesis looks fantastic and blows you out of the water with her presentation, and your significant other has invited over the one friend you can't stand to watch a movie and expects you to make the sandwiches. Your daily action is designed to be almost embarrassingly small, so it survives the weeks you can't remember why you started. Consistency comes from a low bar you clear every day, not a high bar you clear twice. It's different.

There is no behind. Nobody is grading this. The material waits for you, the club waits for you, and the roadmap only measures your own milestones against your own year.

I don't know. What normally happens when you get stuck? You have tools available, but if you shut down when you get stuck, they won't do you any good.

But Dorothy is there at two in the morning and she already knows what you've been working on, so you're not explaining yourself from scratch. Your Joy Riders Club is three women who will notice you've gone quiet before you say a word about it. And your daily action is small enough that even in a bad week you can still do it, so you don't lose your footing and have to start over. Getting stuck is not what ends this. Disappearing is. So don't disappear.

God, no! Nothing here requires or excludes any belief system.

While I do accept gifts, it is not a requirement. Everything you need arrives in the box or lives on the platform.

You're ready if you're willing to look at yourself honestly, move at a reflective pace, and take responsibility for your own participation. You're probably not ready if you want somebody else to do it for you.

Thirty days from purchase. Complete all of the exercises in Chapter One and send them to me, then send back everything except the journal in good condition. The journal is yours. Writing in it is the whole point.

You'll know well before thirty days whether this is for you.
